Hi Jessica, As usual, I have lots of things in my mind. Firstly, to avoid the cliched ‘blame it on Millennials’ bit. I am not against the idea of making things easy. That was the Enlightenment dream. But there is a real problem of editing. The best ideas — like Twitter when it started — are simple. Yet the trajectory of technology seems always towards complexity because the producers love nuance, sophistication and difficulty when in fact we want something Fordist — to reduce choice, to make any process more direct.
